Skin Health with For The Biome

I am 31 years old and it’s amazing how I continue to learn about the needs of my skin. One thing that has always been consistent is that the more raw, or natural and “clean” my beauty routine is the better my skin is. The very first thing I ever tried was just plain olive oil and my skin improved quickly. That was over 10 years ago, and I’ve never used anything but products with real ingredients and no synthetic ingredients.

So before I continue, I want to share that I was paid for this blog post, but I've been using their products for a few weeks now and I stand behind every word I share.

When I was looking into For The Biome the Adapt Essence Spray was the thing that most peaked my interest. As I was reading a little about it something I never considered stood out to me, the effects that blue light has on our skin. I run my business on my computer and phone so the amount of time I spend on those two is A LOT, it is a bit alarming. I mean our skin is the biggest organ on our body, it absorbs so much without us even realizing it. What the blue light studies I read about came down to, is that our overexposure to blue lights creates hyper pigmentation, redness in the skin, accelerates aging, creates dryness (which has been my experience) and basically creates an unbalance in the skin. I was intrigued that For The Biome has created products that help balance and kind of guide your skin to where it should be.

I’ve been using the Vegan Starter Set, and my skin is glowing. For The Biome’s ingredients are real, they are clean and in a short period of time I’ve seen a difference in my skin. I recently had my period and I always break out, but nothing. No breakouts at all. The process of my current skincare routine is really simple. But I always consider the ingredients that are going into my skin and this set has seriously done wonders.

This little set comes with 3 products. The Empower Powder 2-in-1 which has Aloe Vera that moisturizes skin, and I can immediately feel the moisture in my skin after I have removed it. Hydration is key to keep your skin feeling supple and it prevents wrinkles.

The Adapt Essence Spray is full of prebiotics. The enviroment is full of air and light pollution so this sprays prebiotic and mushroom ingredients are regenerating your skin while also fighting the bacteria in the atmosphere that could negatively affect your skin. Finally, the Shield Face Serum. I LOVE this serum. It has marigold and chamomile which I know for me, really helps calms the redness, any irritation and dryness on my skin. This serum is heavy enough to really moisturize but not too heavy that it leaves your skin feeling oily and greasy. My skin absorbs this oil really easily so I can quickly move on to applying my blush or even a quick concealer.
